Optimizing the API Filtration Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Filtration of API Upstream Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Filtration of raw materials is important to ensure the best productivity during chemical reaction or treatment. Global Filter product range offers solutions to remove contaminants from solids particles to microorganisms from pharmaceutical preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, for the particulate removal filter, we recommend using Global Filter’s GCTB-Series Meltblown cartridges along with the GTCH cartridge vessel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, for the point of use particulate removal filter, we recommend using our pleated depth cartridge (PP-Series)<\/a> with a GFHD mono cartridge vessel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, we advice using a 0.2-micron rating PES membrane cartridge<\/a> for microbial retention for the point of use sterilizing grade filter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, for the gas filter, it is recommended to use PPTFE-Series<\/a> (Sterilizing grade) membrane cartridges along with the GSTL sanitary vessel.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Activated Carbon or Catalyst Removal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During production it could be necessary to add solids such as activ carbon or catalysis which
will be removed after the treatment or reaction. Depending on the solid quantity a first main step could be necessary to remove the majority of the catalysts . Amafilter’s Cricket filter is one of the best solution for this step. For small batches or after the main filtration we also offer several solutions in accordance with your process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our HFB-Series High Flow cartridge<\/a> is one of the recommended solutions as it offers a safer and healthier option. Global Filter’s GHLS- Series pleated depth cartridge<\/a> offers a reliable solution for catalysis recovering throughout its life time and especially after several cycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crystalization and solvent filtration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In several steps of the pharmaceutical preparations’ process, solvents are necessary and producing high purity solvent on site can be really cost effective. The PP-Series pleated cartrides <\/a>and GPFA-Series Membrane cartridges<\/a> with absolute efficiencies down to 0.05 \u00b5m with high chemical compatibility are the best solutions to fulfill your requirements in terms of solvent filtration. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
